RayNeo, a brand under TCL, has announced the global launch of its RayNeo Air 3s Pro AR glasses, which were first introduced in China earlier this year. The new model features improved brightness, comfort, and audio performance.

Technical Specifications and Features

The RayNeo Air 3s Pro is equipped with a 5.5th-generation tandem Micro-OLED display with HueView 2.0 technology, offering a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, a contrast ratio of 200,000:1, and 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The virtual screen projects a massive 201-inch equivalent image from a distance of 6 meters.

The glasses support six different viewing modes—including Film Mode, Game Mode, Image Enhancement, and Eye Protection Mode—to optimize the experience for various environments. For prolonged use, the glasses are TÜV SÜD certified, ensuring low blue light and flicker-free viewing. They also feature 3,840 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and 20 levels of brightness adjustment.

The frame of the glasses weighs 76 grams with a balanced weight distribution, adjustable temples, and three levels of nose pads. According to the company, the design accommodates 93% of interpupillary distances and supports prescription lenses.

For audio, the Air 3s Pro uses a four-speaker system combined with RayNeo’s spatial audio algorithms to deliver an immersive, cinema-like experience. A “Whisper Mode” directs sound specifically to the wearer’s ears, preventing audio from leaking into public spaces.

The glasses are compatible with multiple devices, including iOS and Android smartphones, PCs, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch, via the JoyDock accessory. RayNeo also offers a USB-C adapter that provides power to the glasses without draining the connected device’s battery.

The RayNeo Air 3s Pro is priced at $299 but is available for an introductory price of $249 at launch. Bundle options with the Pocket TV or JoyDock accessory are also offered.
