President Donald Trump will arrive Friday in Anchorage, Alaska for a face-to-face meeting with Russian leader, Vladimir Putin regarding the years-long war with Ukraine. Trump wants the discussion, which officials say could last six to seven hours, to lay the ground work for peace talks.
Trump said he will know within minutes whether this will “be a good or bad meeting” and if Putin is serious about ending its war with Ukraine. There is a 25-percent chance it will not work out, the president added.
Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy (R) joined LiveNOW’s Josh Breslow to discuss the summit and what to expect.
