After a deal with HBO fell through earlier this year, Hulu is reportedly set to broadcast a docuseries involving legendary NFL and current North Carolina Tar Heels head coach, Bill Belichick.
According to Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, the series will be produced by EverWonder Studio but doesn’t have an official name or release date yet.
Belichick and UNC were working on a deal to be on HBO’s Hard Knocks: Offseason, which is usually reserved for NFL teams, but the deal fell through at the last minute.
There were a few reported reasons for that, including creative difference with Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, and NFL owners not wanting Belichick to get a platform on NFL Films.
Belichick spent 24 years as the head coach of the New England Patriots, where he won six Super Bowls and cemented himself as arguably the greatest head coach in league and sports history.
Belichick also won a pair of Super Bowls as the defensive coordinator of the New York Giants.
He and the Patriots parted ways following the 2023 season, which was the third losing campaign in four years for New England.
After not landing an NFL job in 2024, Belichick was hired at North Carolina in December of that year, marking the first time he’s ever had a college head-coaching gig.
