CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Norah O’Donnell has made the decision to step down from her role at the anchor desk following the 2024 election and transition into a new position within the network.

This upcoming presidential election will mark my seventh as a journalist, and for many of us in this field, we tend to measure our careers in relation to these significant events,” she reflected.
