A former WWE Superstar took a major shot at Adam Pearce today on social media. Pearce currently serves as the General Manager of WWE RAW.

Pearce made a huge announcement on social media ahead of tonight’s edition of SmackDown. The former NWA star revealed that Jey Uso was the mystery star for the Fatal 4-Way King of the Ring match on this week’s edition of RAW.

Main Event Jey will be facing Sheamus, Rusev, and Bronson Reed to see who advances in the King of the Ring tournament next Monday night on the red brand.

As seen in the video above, Pearce made the announcement in front of a weight bench. Former WWE star Baron Corbin, known as Tom Pestock on Instagram, commented on the post and hilariously suggested that Pearce couldn’t lift the weights behind him. “You put the weight in frame but I know you can’t lift that,” wrote Corbin.

Corbin’s time in the promotion came to an end last year as WWE elected not to renew his contract.

WWE Hall of Famer offers advice to Adam Pearce

Wrestling legend Teddy Long recently offered some advice to Adam Pearce to be a better General Manager at the company.

Long has been the GM of SmackDown in the past and believes Adam Pearce needs to make a change. Speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, the veteran stated that Pearce needed to use his authority more and show the RAW roster that he was in charge.

“I think they both do a great job, very good job. With Adam (Pearce) I think he needs to be just a little bit more firm you know what I mean. He is a little bit too easy… I like him, I intend to talk with him and everything. But like I said I think he is just a little bit not firm enough. You know he doesn’t have that stroke, like hey I am not playing, this is how this is gonna be whether you like it or not. So I think he just needs to be a little bit more authoritative, you know what I mean.” [8:02 onwards]

Jey Uso lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther this past Monday night on RAW. It will be interesting to see if The Yeet Master can win the King of the Ring tournament to earn a title shot at SummerSlam.
