Speaking at a media briefing on Friday, China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi accused Washington of taking a hypocritical approach to bilateral ties. “No country should fantasize that it can suppress China and maintain good relations with China at the same time,” Beijing’s top diplomat said. “The US shouldn’t return good with evil or even impose arbitrary tariffs on Chinese products.”
