Two soldiers were killed during Israel’s targeted precision strikes on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) military sites, Iranian media reports.
The Israel War Room posted a photo of one of the soldiers on social media, identifying him as Hamzeh Jahandideh, who served in the air defense units.
Israel launched its retaliatory strikes on Iran, nearly four weeks after Iran fired an estimated 180 ballistic missiles at Israel.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari spoke after the operation ended, warning Iran not to strike back. He said Israel “conducted strikes on military targets” that posed a threat to the state of Israel and warned that if Iran made the “mistake” of starting a new round of escalation, Israel would “be obligated to respond.”
Dr. Asaf Romirowsky, the executive director of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East (SPME) joined LiveNOW from FOX’s Josh Breslow to discuss the latest developments out of the Middle East.
