Hurricane Beryl made landfall in Texas on Monday as a Category 1 storm. Beryl will continue to move inland brining severe rain, flooding, and storm surge to the area.
Officials say wind gusts of 89 mph have struck in Matagorda Bay, Texas. More than 90,000 customers have lost power.
Hurricane warnings have been posted as storm surge is forecasted to reach 3-7 feet.
