On September 7, 2000, Jennifer and Diddy — who were dating at the time — attended the MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. According to Dailymail.com on Wednesday, eyewitnesses said the singer seemed eager to celebrate that night after she won the award for Best Dance Video for her track Waiting for Tonight. However, her celebratory mood was ruined at one point. Why? Because of whatever happened with Diddy at the afterparty!
Following the award show, the then-couple went to a star-studded bash at the Lotus nightclub hosted by Enimen and Dr. Dre. During the night, they got into a fight – that was captured on camera! In one photo, Jennifer appears to be shouting at Diddy in front of a bunch of partygoers. Another then shows the actress scowling at him while he serves booze to other guests. Given what we know after the lawsuits and indictment, we can only imagine what else was in that drink…
The third image then shows a clearly angry Jennifer walking away from the rapper. Oof. Check out the pictures (below):

What were they arguing about?? Fans have been curious ever since these photos resurfaced on the internet! Unfortunately, no details about the reason for the fight have come out. A guest who attended the party recalled the confrontation to Dailymail.com, saying:
“Diddy held a Cristal champagne bottle the entire time serving his guests. Everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves but as the night progressed, tensions rose between him and JLo.”
Once the pair started to argue, the source said the other guests, including her manager Benny Medina, watched in disbelief. Now we really want to know what this situation was about! Damn! Hours later, the insider said Diddy left the party with Jennifer and their entourage.
It is unknown what exactly happened between Diddy and J.Lo at the party. They’ve not addressed the resurfaced pics. However, we heard some horrible things that occurred that same night. A lawsuit filed by lawyer Tony Buzbee last month claimed Diddy drugged and assaulted a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards party. She claimed a male celebrity raped her while the female celebrity watched. Then, the Bad Boy Records founder raped her while the other two observed. So awful. The male and female stars have not been named yet.
