California is home to the busiest containership ports in the country. Many of the goods that enter through those ports must travel hundreds or even thousands of miles before they reach distribution centers, meaning a portion of the supply chain pays California diesel prices-the most expensive in the U.S. CNBC’s Pippa Stevens breaks down what that means for consumers.
