Celo (CELO): Trading near $0.06 with a market cap of ~$40 million

Celo is a mobile-first Ethereum Layer-2 network built for accessible payments, stablecoins, and DeFi, especially in markets underserved by traditional finance. CELO supports staking, governance, and stability mechanisms for Celo-native assets, while community voting guides upgrades and ecosystem funding. Token holders participate in network coordination, not equity ownership, dividends, or protocol profit-sharing.

The Setup — Bitcoin

Bitcoin has had a rough run, with Tuesday’s 2.7% decline pushing its second-quarter performance to a loss of 14.2%. It marked the third straight quarterly decline for BTC, which has now fallen more than 50% from its peak and made a new 52-week low late last night. 

Bitcoin briefly stabilized near its 200-week moving average and held the $60,000 level, but both areas are wavering as support as we enter July. If BTC can reclaim these levels, the technical setup could improve for bulls. However, remaining below them could keep short-term momentum tilted bearish.

Options

For investors who can’t trade or aren’t comfortable trading cryptocurrencies outright, they can consider ETFs for BTC and ETH. On the BTC front, IBIT remains the largest ETF by assets, while also supporting options trading. 

Bulls can utilize calls or call spreads to speculate on upside, while bears can use puts or puts spread to speculate on downside. In either case, investors may consider using adequate time until expiration.

What Wall Street’s Watching

SPY

The S&P 500 gained 14.9% in the second quarter, marking its best quarterly performance since 2020. Now up almost 10% for the year, bulls are wondering whether US equities can maintain momentum in the second half. While tech helped lead the way, industrials and health care provided a late-quarter boost too. Top S&P 500 ETFs include SPY, IVV, and VOO.

NKENike beat fiscal Q4 earnings and revenue expectations, helped by a nearly $986 million tariff refund that boosted margins and added 52 cents to EPS. Revenue still slipped 1% year over year, with North America up 3% but Greater China sales down 12%. Management reiterated that earnings are expected to remain roughly flat through the first half of fiscal 2027 as Nike’s turnaround continues amid pressure on global consumers.
