Dakota Mortensen‘s roommate continues to get involved in the 33-year-old reality star’s drama with Taylor Frankie Paul!

After the former couple’s custody hearing this week, Cru Eaton took to TikTok to post a video, which Dakota took shortly after he and Taylor welcomed their son, Ever Mortensen, in which she is in tears amid an intense argument. The clip began with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star barging into a room and asking her then-boyfriend:

“Why are you filming, Dakota? This is real! Why are you doing this? Why?”

She continues to ask him why he is filming her over and over until she gets down on the floor sobbing. From behind the camera, you can hear Dakota claiming:

“What about the 120th time you’ve beaten me up and I’ve never done anything?”

He then told her he was only filming so she knew she could “get caught” for her alleged behavior, and claimed she acted “different” once he started recording. At one point, he said:

“You’re not beating me up anymore while I have a baby in my hand. … You’re an abusive person, and I’m sick of it!”

In the caption of the post, Cru claimed Taylor never once denied abusing Dakota while pushing back against the online criticism that these videos never show what happened before the television personality starts recording:

“Everyone is so concerned and so focused on what must have been happening before the videos started. You guys do understand that Dakota doesn’t start these fights, so he has no way of knowing when he needs to be recording them, correct? … Pay attention to what happens when Dakota clearly tells Taylor that, right before this video started, she had been beating the crap out of him. Taylor doesn’t deny it. She doesn’t say he’s wrong. She doesn’t say it didn’t happen. She doesn’t claim he was beating her too. Her silence speaks volumes.”

Cru then went on to analyze Taylor’s body language, saying:

“Then watch her hands every time she realizes she’s being recorded and can’t hit him. Her fists tighten, her body tenses, and you can see the frustration that her hands can’t do what they want to do in those moments. Finally, watch who is actually advancing the confrontation. Dakota tries to retreat with Ever. Taylor is the one who comes back into the room. Taylor is the one who continues moving toward him, even though she can clearly see he’s holding their baby.”

And despite Taylor sending a cease and desist, Cru promised to “continue to show the truth” if she continues to post about him online. Watch the entire video (below):

I dug back through the archive of videos and messages and found a few that perfectly illustrate what was happening, including evidence straight from Taylor’s own words. Pay attention to what happens when Dakota clearly tells Taylor that, right before this video started, she had been beating the crap out of him. Taylor doesn’t deny it. She doesn’t say he’s wrong. I’m willing to take it behind the social media but everytime you mention me or post about me I will continue to show the truth…because quite frankly the courts are turning a blind eye but the public needs to know everything if you’re gonna try to ruin everybody’s lives publicly. This behavior in front of the kids is uncalled for and creates trauma.

A source has since claimed to People on Friday that the video shows “Dakota berating his postpartum girlfriend, repeatedly heightening the situation despite her asking him to stop,” adding:

“It’s sad that someone [Cru] who isn’t the parent would post these videos and keep fanning the flames, the kids will find [the videos] one day.”

Another source suggested Cru’s actions could harm Dakota’s custody case. After all, the exes have been warned multiple times not to make any disparaging remarks about each other online! And yet the pair, and those around them, can’t seem to stop! The insider said:

“People close to Dakota are sick of watching Taylor get away with all of this. They want to help, but sometimes the way they try might not actually help him out the most.”

Dakota has not reacted to his roommate’s post. However, Taylor took to Instagram Stories to call out Cru for being “cruel” to her:

“I better hop off the internet before I say something I WON’T regret. There’s a huge difference between accountability and cruelty. Releasing a video of a woman who is so clearly freshly postpartum isn’t accountability. It’s CRUEL. Anyone who’s been postpartum can see it. She doesn’t need the internet preserving one of the hardest, most vulnerable seasons of her life to weaponize against her forever. I CANNOT. That draws a line. Whether you like her or not is irrelevant. This should piss off every woman in America. Wow CRUEl.”
