More alleged details of what went on before Taylor Frankie Paul‘s 2023 arrest are coming to light.
As we’re sure you’ve heard by now, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star has been in hot water recently. She was accused of some pretty awful behavior by her ex-husband Dakota Mortensen, which resulted in him getting a protective order against her and her season of The Bachelorette being pulled from the air.
And while the new allegations are shocking, they’re not all that surprising to fans considering Taylor’s 2023 domestic violence arrest — which has been pulled into the spotlight again, including via a terrifying video taken the night of the reality star’s arrest. In it, Taylor can be seen screaming and even throwing a chair at Dakota, allegedly hitting her young daughter with it. It’s a tough watch. And it was just as hard to witness for those nearby!

A new phone recording has been unearthed that features a neighbor calling 911 and sharing what she saw that day. In the clip obtained by Us Weekly on Saturday, Taylor’s female neighbor is heard telling the Herriman City Police Department:
“First, there’s like domestic violence; somebody is screaming, ‘Get off me.’ There is a woman screaming. The garage door keeps opening and shutting. It sounds like she’s trying to get out.”
She said it looked “like somebody [was] leaving,” before adding:
“Somebody’s getting in the truck. So, it looks like the lady who was screaming might be leaving right now. … [She] actually didn’t leave. Now, she’s going back in the house.”
At the time, the neighbor expressed concern over Taylor, explaining how she wasn’t sure if the MomTok star got injured in the altercation (though the caller said she didn’t hear signs of weapons or of Taylor or Dakota drinking alcohol during the altercation). She explained:
“I know they have kids, [but] I don’t know if the kids are there right now, because I think she shares time with her ex-husband … I would love to know if they’re OK. I mean, it looks like she’s OK right now. I don’t know if somebody else in there was screaming.”
Before the phone call ended, the neighbor also said she’d rather remain anonymous:
“I don’t know what is going on. But anyway, I don’t really want them to know that I’m the one that’s calling the police.”
Intense. That must’ve been scary for the neighbor to witness!! Even if she didn’t know exactly what was happening, good on her for doing the right thing by calling for help. In situations like this, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Ultimately, cops did arrive and found plenty of reasons for concern!
