Vice President Kamala Harris has secured enough delegates to become the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee in 2024, according to the Associated Press. In a statement Monday night, Harris said she looks forward to “formally accepting the nomination soon.” Harris raised $81 million in the 24 hours after President Biden said Sunday that he’s dropping out of the race. Former President Donald Trump secured the GOP nomination at last week’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
