Two students were killed and nine others wounded after a gunman opened fire on the Brown University campus in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday afternoon, Providence police say.
The city’s mayor Brett Smiley announced Sunday morning that a man in his 30s, labeled a “person of interest” was taken into custody with FOX’s Bryan Llenas reporting that man was detained around 3:45AM ET, about 20 miles south of the school in Coventry, Rhode Island.
