The Where Winds Meet daily reset time is one of the most important timers to understand, especially since the game uses a daily level cap that directly affects how far you can push your Solo Mode progression. The reset happens at the same global time each day, and that moment determines when your next set of level breakthroughs unlocks.
Here’s a breakdown of Where Winds Meet daily reset time, regional conversions, and how the daily Solo Mode Level system works.
Note: This article is a work in progress, and if you ever see a different reset depending on region or platform, make sure to comment.

Daily Solo Mode Level cap unlocks

Where Winds Meet doesn’t let players speedrun everything on day one. Instead, the game applies a daily Solo Mode Level cap, which increases with each day you play, not the number of days since launch.
Here’s how the daily caps unlock:
Day 1 (Lv 2 cap): Player Level 20Day 2 (Lv 3 cap): Player Level 30Day 3 (Lv 4 cap): Player Level 40Day 4 (Lv 5 cap): Player Level 50Day 5 (Lv 6 cap): Player Level 55Day 6: No cap – progression opens
Your Day 1 begins the first day you log in, not the calendar date of release. This system creates predictable progress walls, especially because certain main story sections won’t unlock unless your Solo Mode Level is high enough. You can check your current cap easily in-game.
Just click the Mode Switch icon at the top-center of the HUD. Select the Solo Mode Level button on the right side, and you’re good to go. The menu will show today’s level cap and the unlock requirements for the next level.
If the system tells you that no new Solo Mode Level can be unlocked until the next day, that means you’ve hit your cap for the current cycle, and the next unlock will happen once the 4 PM EST reset hits.
The good news is that you don’t have to hit the cap each day. Even if you end the day below your maximum, the next level cap will still open automatically at the next reset.
Where Winds Meet is available on PC/PS5 as a free-to-play game.
