Arguably, there’s no bigger celebrity on the planet who likes to troll and shade other celebs on social media as much as Grammy-winning rapper/producer/entrepreneur, 50 Cent. Only weeks after kicking off the biggest rap beef of 2026 between himself and T.I. and company (T.I.’s family), he’s now poking fun at a new celebrity, the one and only Usher Raymond. And what makes 50 Cent’s insulting of Usher interesting is the fact that the “In Da Club” rapper is not trolling the “Yeah” singer for something offensive Usher did to him personally, but rather for Usher’s recent comments about Diddy.
In case you missed it, Usher recently did an interview with Forbes, in which he stated, “I don’t have anything negative to say about Sean Combs [Diddy] because my experience was not what the world has seen, and how he’s been misrepresented.” Additionally, Usher talked about how Diddy was a mentor to him when it came to the music business and the valuable contributions Diddy has made to culture, specifically Black culture.
While Usher stopped short of saying the hip-hop mogul is just some innocent man, people took to social media, outraged about Usher’s remarks, especially given the world remembers the infamous video of Diddy assaulting singer Cassie. Joining in the loud voices of those who disapprove of Usher’s comments, again, is 50 Cent.

Given that 50 Cent has a long-standing beef with Diddy, even executive producing the Netflix documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, it’s not entirely surprising that 50 Cent would go after anyone who publicly supports him. On March 25, in an Instagram post on his page, 50 Cent posted a screenshot of People quoting Usher, and captioned the image with:
“Usher like 😳I don’t want people to know what he did to my ass. I’m a grown man now my ass is off limits. LOL 😆 @phlivenyc@50centaction@bransoncognac.”

Did Usher Respond to 50 Cent?
As of publication, it doesn’t look like Usher has responded to 50 Cent, and I don’t expect that to change. Usher isn’t exactly the type to go back and forth with people on social media, and he’s not a rapper, so it’s not likely he’ll be like T.I. and release 50 Cent diss tracks.
